Treatment Focus

“Knowing that we can be loved exactly as we are gives us all the best opportunity for growing into the healthiest of people.”

-Fred Rogers

My Mission

I strive to provide evidenced-based treatment that listens and adapts to needs of each client. I affirm all races, ethnicities, sexualities, genders, religions, and backgrounds.

Therapeutic Models

I focused on Emotionally Focused Therapy during my MFT training. This means helping clients reach congruence with their inner thoughts and feelings. I also focus on self-esteem in treatment. Often, our stresses wear down our positive self-image, turning a driving self-critique into stalling doubts. This incorporates elements of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Narrative Therapy. Overall, I walk alongside clients with respect to their knowledge and experience of their own lives.

Common Issues I work With:

  • Anxiety

  • Depression

  • Grief

  • Life Transitions

  • Relationship Struggles

  • School and Work Stress

  • Screen time or relationship with technology

Work with Adolescents

I have diverse experience in working with teens and the issues they face. I have worked in schools providing direct counseling to students. I can help navigate with teens the stress from schoolwork, a developing sense of identity, and their struggles in peer and family relationships. I work with teens where they are at, to help them feel resilient and strong.
